When you are visiting Buenos Aires, you also will pass by some public places like restaurants or clubs where there is obviously a birthday party going on. Something which is so common all over the world, but in the same time a reflexion of culture, very interesting to observe if you want to know a bit more about the country you are moving around at that moment.
I just wanted to tell you something about the most important birthday for the young women, honestly I don’t know if this 15th birthday is celebrated only in South America, but for European citizans for sure it is unknown.
The 15th birthday of a girl is, like mentioned above, the most important one and is celebrated like a wedding, but without any husband involved. The 15th birthday is a symbol for the change of a girl to a young women. The young women is dressed in a long white dress and she carries flowers. There will be taken photos, a special 15th birthday cake, dancing in a “salon” with the company of the family and friends and she will shine and enjoy to be the center of attention at the most important birthday of her life.
