No matter if it is red, white, sparkling, Argentine wine is enjoyed in more than 120 countries in the world. This itinerary offers the possibility of becoming acquainted with more than 200 hundred year of production.

The Rural will be hosting “Wine Week” this upcoming week. The exposition will be opening its doors to the public on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Many of the biggest wineries (Chandon, Zuccardi, Lopez) will be there as well as some of the smaller boutique wineries. In addition to wine tasting, the event will be featuring sushi and tapas bars, in addition to a cheese corner. For $25 pesos it should be quite an event (especially since you get a free wine glass!)

The most important annual exhibition of journalism photos in the world presents 200 images chosen among 78.083 pictures taken by almost 4.500 journalists from 124 countries.
Every year, an international independent panel made of thirteen members judges the material submitted by photo-journalists, agencies, newspapers and magazines from any part of the world. The best photo of the year 2006 is a colour image taken by the American Spencer Platt, agency Getty Images. Such picture is about a group of young people from Lebanese driving along a destroyed Beirut after the Israeli attack.

Douglas Gordon, the Scotish video artist, presents his work “Timeline”, organized by Klaus Biesenbach from MoMA in New York. The exhibition contains six video instalments of big size in which Gordon manages images of classic films to create new pieces of art.
