From September 4th through 23rd 2007

THEATER – DANCE – MUSIC – VISUAL ARTS

In its sixth edition, the Festival Internacional de Buenos Aires will celebrate its 10th anniversary. Throughout ten uninterrupted years, the Festival was able to develop, broaden its objectives and grow thanks to the support of audiences, institutions, enterprises and the press, reaching out in past editions to over 100.000 spectators.

Organized by the Ministry of Culture of the City Government, once again this Festival will turn Buenos Aires into one of the most important stages of Latin America. It will open with the presentation of the mythical Théâtre du Soleil, in its first visit to our continent.

In 2007 to its traditional sections, the Festival will add one of new productions curated by the Local Program Committee; the second edition of the “Proyecto Cruce” (Cross-over Project) which, on this occasion, will present proposals that have been selected from an open calling; and “Noches de Autor” (Auteur Nights), night events specially created for the Meeting Point by different artists.
